Hi everyone, my name is Angela and I am going to be helping Siobhan out a bit.  :)  I run a website for Jena’s mutiple-time costar, Emile Hirsch so I have learned to appreciate Jena throughout the years and I simply adore her.  I have added several photos of Jena making public appearances between 1996 and 1998.

According to many online sources, Jamie Chung and Jena Malone have joined the cast of Sucker Punch, director Zack Snyder’s upcoming, all-female action fantasy.

Set in the 1950s, “Sucker” centers on a girl confined to a mental institution by her evil stepfather, who intends to have her lobotomized in five days. While there, she imagines an alternate reality to hide from the pain and in that world begins planning her escape, needing to steal five objects to help get her out. (Source)

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Malone will be playing Abby Cornish’s younger sister, both of whom have the unfortunate luck to be locked in this hellish mental institution.

I’ve found a nice article, relating to Jena’s performance in Mourning Becomes Electra - it includes a couple of nice, new pictures - so be sure to check it out. I’ll try and get them added to the gallery asap.

Mourning Becomes Electra is rarely revived because the Eugene O’NeilCivil War epic runs five hours when it goes unedited, and features three smaller plays within the main play. On top of the lengthy script, the lead character, Lavinia, is on stage for most of the play! Though daunting, the role is a real treat for an actress, and Jena Malone embraces the part.
